West of Cheyenne, Laramie is the third-largest city in Wyoming, and is a hotspot for outdoors enthusiasts because of the nearby Snowy and Laramie mountain ranges, as well as the Laramie River. The city also attracts retirees because of its low cost of living and low taxes (housing costs are over 30% lower than the national average). This has helped the city grow over the past fifteen years, so the economy has remained healthy (although there are only around 30,000 residents, so it’s not very crowded). The city enjoys low insurance rates because of its low accident rates and low traffic, so you should be able to find plenty of choices for cheap insurance.
